The Mental Health Professional (MHP) is responsible for delivering comprehensive mental health services to assigned clients in accordance with clinical standards and agency policies. Services include intake assessments, treatment planning, individual, family, and group therapy, psychoeducation, crisis intervention, and crisis stabilization. The MHP ensures the highest quality of care in both clinical effectiveness and regulatory compliance.

Details

1.  Meet and maintain direct service productivity standards as defined by the organization.
2.  Provide a full range of clinical mental health services to assigned clients, including intake assessments, treatment planning, therapeutic interventions (individual, family, and group), and crisis response.
3.  Deliver services in approved settings based on clinical need.
4.  Monitor caseload daily using the MHP Caseload Compliance Report within the Credible system and complete all required documentation accordingly.
5.  Update treatment plans at required intervals (every 180 days) and as clinically indicated.
6.  Prepare and submit documentation required by managed care organizations and/or private insurance providers to support service authorization and reimbursement in a timely manner.
7.  Complete daily progress notes and Safety/Incident Reports by the end of the next calendar day, in compliance with Policy 4-4: Contemporaneous Documentation.
8.  Provide necessary reports and clinical documentation to DCFS, legal entities, and other external agencies as needed.
9.  Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations and adhere strictly to the organization’s Privacy Practices.
10. Participate in monthly clinic team meetings.
11. Attend medical staffing's with a minimum 90% attendance compliance.
12. Provide supervision and observation of Qualified Behavioral Health Providers (QBHPs) as required by agency policy.
13. Provide testimony in legal proceedings as needed.
14. Maintain an active and unrestricted Arkansas license as one of the following:
    •Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
    •Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW)
    •Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)
    •Licensed Associate Counselor (LAC)
15. Perform additional duties as assigned to support clinical and organizational operations.
 

Requirements

EDUCATION

Strong understanding and application of clinical ethics, HIPAA guidelines, and confidentiality standards. Ability to effectively engage with clients, families, multidisciplinary professionals, and staff. Flexibility to travel as required for service delivery.

JOB SKILLS
