The Qualified Behavioral Health Provider (QBHP) plays a vital role in supporting clients and their families throughout the course of mental health treatment. Working under the direction of a licensed Mental Health Professional (MHP), the QBHP delivers targeted behavioral interventions, models effective coping strategies, and reinforces treatment objectives. This role fosters therapeutic engagement, strengthens support networks, and promotes client stability and functional improvement. This position requires regular travel and does not include supervisory responsibilities.
The Mental Health Professional (MHP) is responsible for delivering comprehensive mental health services to assigned clients in accordance with clinical standards and agency policies. Services include intake assessments, treatment planning, individual, family, and group therapy, psychoeducation, crisis intervention, and crisis stabilization. The MHP ensures the highest quality of care in both clinical effectiveness and regulatory compliance.
The Medical Director will supervise all prescribers (MD’s, APRN’s) as well as administering policies procedures relating to all medical services within the organization.

The Qualified Behavioral Health Provider (QBHP) establishes a supportive client relationship with the goal of empowering clients and their support network to actively participate in mental health treatment. The QBHP will provide clinical interventions to reinforce, practice, and model therapeutic techniques and treatments as directed by the Mental Health Professional (MHP). The QBHP is not responsible for supervision of other staff. Travel is required.

The student is then notified if an internship will be offered.
