We are proud to announce the promotion of Katelyn Berg, LMSW, to Clinical Supervisor at our Jacksonville Clinic. Katelyn joined Families, Inc. in 2020 as an outpatient and school-based therapist and has been an integral part of our clinical team ever since. In April 2025, she officially stepped into her new leadership role, bringing with her a strong clinical background, a commitment to excellence, and a passion for serving others.
Katelyn earned her Bachelor of Science in Addiction Studies from the University of Central Arkansas and her Master’s in Social Work from the University of Arkansas Little Rock. Before joining Families, Inc., she gained valuable experience through internships with the UALR Counseling Services and Arkansas CARES. She also served as a Behavioral Instructor at Methodist Family Health and worked in treatment operations security support at Recovery Centers of Arkansas.
As Clinical Supervisor, Katelyn reports to the Vice President of Operations and oversees the day-to-day clinical operations of both outpatient and school-based staff in Jacksonville. Her responsibilities include supervising clinical employees and contractors, assigning client caseloads, conducting performance evaluations, ensuring compliance with company policies, and maintaining the highest standards of care. She will also be directly involved in the hiring process, clinic meetings, community engagement, and, when needed, direct client services.
Additionally, Katelyn will play a key role in managing and growing our school-based services—acting as a liaison with local schools, supporting staff in educational settings, and helping expand our partnerships with new schools in the region.
Outside of work, Katelyn resides in Austin, Arkansas, where she enjoys spending time with her husband, their newborn, and their dog, Oliver. When she finds a quiet moment, she loves to unwind with a good book.
Please join us in congratulating Katelyn on this well-deserved promotion. We are excited for the leadership and heart she brings to this new role and look forward to all she will accomplish as Clinical Supervisor in Jacksonville.
