Marc Wilson, now a licensed certified social worker, joined Families, Inc. as the clinical supervisor for the Walnut Ridge clinic in May 2007. Marc came to us after serving as clinical coordinator at St. Bernard's Behavioral Health. He has also served as a case manager supervisor and a reintegration counselor with other mental health organizations. Stints outside of mental health include serving as an Arkansas Game and Fish Wildlife Officer and as a district assistant supervisor with Walmart.
Marc graduated from Arkansas State University with a bachelor's in social work where he was also named to the president's list. He received his M. A. in social work from the University of Tennessee. He is knowledgeable in Trauma Focused-Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
Marc volunteers with the American Red Cross and serves on the Lawrence County Healthcare Coalition, and the Lawrence County Alcohol, Tobacco and Other Drugs Task Force. He enjoys the outdoors whether it be through hunting, fishing, rock climbing or riding motorcycles. Marc has one son, Landon.
