Blueberry McGee was born July 2, 2021 in Marshall, AR. Destiny and her family bought him from Darling Doodles when he was just a baby!! He is a labradoodle (lab and poodle mix). Blueberry began training with Michelle Hill's Dog Training Academy through his early puppy years and then went to a 3 Week Advanced Board & Train in Memphis, TN at West TN K9 with the goals of basic and advanced obedience and specifically gaining skills necessary for a therapy setting. (Fun fact: one of his buddies in his training works for a sensory gym for kiddos in Tennessee!!). Blueberry is able to sit, lay down, shake, come, fetch. He loves good belly rubs and has the softest curls. He is a gentle giant- a lanky, goofy, sweet boy. He enjoys lovin' on kids and staff alike. You can't hardly pet him without just falling in love. Therapists, staff, teachers, nurses have all said they felt better after getting just a few cuddles with him. His next training goal is to become a certified "Pet Partner Team" to be able to do more volunteer work in the community. We are gearing up for that training soon!! He will also attend ongoing training, continuing education as long as he works!!
Blueberry will be working out of our Jonesboro clinic.
