Chris Stone is a certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner through the American Nursing Credentialing Center who joined Families, Inc. in January 2020. He received his Master of Nursing Science from the University of Arkansas for Medical Services in Little Rock, his Registered Nurse license through the Baptist Health School of Nursing in Little Rock, and his Bachelor of Arts from Lambuth University in Jackson, TN.
Chris gained extensive knowledge in psychiatry through his many years of work in inpatient facilities such as Rivendell Behavioral, The Bridgeway Hospital and Pinnacle Point Behavioral Hospital. He was selected as an Arkansas Action Coalition 40 under 40 Young Nursing Leaders, a UAMS College of Nursing GOOD Scholar, and the UAMS Nursing Educator Award. Chris serves on the boards of the Arkansas Chapter of the American Psychiatric Nursing Association and the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI).
As a part of the Families, Inc. psychiatric team, Chris sees clients in the Jacksonville clinic and clients in Paragould and Piggott via telemedicine.
