Director of Finance

The Director of Finance is a reliable professional with broad knowledge of all accounting, financial and business principles.  This position oversees all company financial activities to ensure it stays in strong financial standing and will supervise the Staff Accountant and Business Office Manager. 

1. Drive the financial planning of the company by analyzing and reporting its performance, risks, and trends.
2. Retain constant awareness of the company’s financial position and make recommendations to the CEO as needed.
3. Set targets and goals related to company finances.
4. Supervise all accounting staff and Business Office Manager.
5. Oversee all audit and internal control operations.
6. Prepare timely and detailed reports on financial performance ensuring that the reports comply with generally accepted accounting principles on a quarterly and annual basis or as required by the CEO.
7. Conduct strategic analysis to make forecasts and report to the Admin Team as directed by the CEO.
8. Presents recommendations to Admin Team on short-and long-term financial objectives and policies.
9. Create usable budgets for the business, including evaluating the needs of each department in the long term.
10. Other duties as assigned. 

Proven experience as Director of Finance or similar role. Prefer experience in Microsoft Great Plains accounting software.  Credible/Qualifacts electronic medical record experience is a plus.
