Clinical Supervisor

Under the guidance of the Director of Clinical Operations, the Clinical Supervisor is responsible for the direct supervision of all clinical staff within the assigned clinic.  The CS must work effectively with staff, department leaders, school administrators, and community members to ensure that high quality services are being delivered to the customer. The CS will also implement and enforce company policies and procedures which govern the way services are provided. 

  1. Provides direct clinical supervision to employee staff and independent contractors working in both out-patient and school-based settings.
  2. Performs annual and semi-annual reviews for staff to promote performance improvement and increase job satisfaction.
  3. Assigns clients to appropriately credentialed staff.
  4. Assesses staff/contractor needs for service delivery.
  5. Utilizes EMR reporting to ensure compliant, quality services are being delivered.
  6. Available on-site daily or will make plans for coverage as appropriate.
  7. Works closely with medical and clinical staff and school-based staff to promote the interdisciplinary team.
  8. Attends daily staffings.
  9. Involved in the hiring process by assessing clinic needs, discussing those needs with the DCO, conducting interview, and making hiring recommendations.
  10. Provides complete and timely documentation to support services rendered.
  11. Conducts regularly scheduled clinic meetings and staffings.
  12. Attends monthly clinical supervisors meeting.
  13. Promotes the company within the community.
  14. Provides direct mental health services (intake assessment, individual/family therapy, group, crisis interventions) to assigned clients as needed. Maximum caseload dependent on clinic size and need. 
  15. Utilizes departments within the company to assist with the advancement of clinic.
  16. Other duties as assigned.

School-Based Specific Job Functions:

  1. Acts as a liaison with school sites and works closely with staff to promote Families, Inc within service areas.
  2. Maintains communication with local, regional, and state educational staff regarding service needs.
  3. Maintains close working relationship with Network and non-Network schools in which the organization is currently providing services.
  4. Develops after-school programs and summer programs by collaborating with area schools to identify the needs of their staff and students.
  5. Markets school-based services to new schools.
  6. Maintains open communication with school-based staff and attends school meetings as needed.
     

A master’s degree from an accredited University or College in social work, psychology, or counseling and licensed as a Mental Health Professional in the State of Arkansas with a minimum of 2 years of experience practicing as an MHP.
