This specialized training equips Cameron to use Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy to help clients process distressing experiences, reduce trauma-related symptoms, and support emotional healing. Cameron is now accepting new clients in our Jonesboro clinic.
What Is EMDR?
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) is an evidence-based psychotherapy approach designed to help people recover from trauma and other distressing life experiences. During EMDR, clients work with a trained therapist to process difficult memories using structured techniques, often involving bilateral stimulation such as guided eye movements or tapping. EMDR has been shown to be effective in treating post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and is also used to address anxiety, depression, grief, phobias, and other concerns by helping the brain reprocess painful memories in a healthier, more adaptive way.
