We are happy to welcome our June newly hired therapists to the family!
Samantha Acklin, LMSW is a therapist who graduated from Our Lady of the Lake University in San Antonio where she received her Masters in Social Work. Adela Hernandez, LMSW is a therapist who graduated from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock where she received her Masters in Social Work. Rebecca Jackson, LAC is a therapist who graduated from Harding Univeristy where she received her Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy.
Adela is also bilingual and is a Spanish interpreter. Adela states, "As a social worker at the professional level, I offer counseling services for children, adolescents, and adults. My focus is the Latino community. I am a therapist who understands the Latino culture with profoundness. I am convinced that access to your native language is extremely important in the therapeutic process. By offering counseling services in English and Spanish, I hope to eliminate an emotional barrier and work together towards your goal of wellness or goal for your child. I use several methods of therapy. I will accept referrals from across the state of Arkansas." "Como trabajadora social al nivel profesional ofrezco servicios de consejería para niños, adolescentes, y adultos. Mi enfoque es la comunidad latina. Soy una terapeuta que entiende a la cultura latina con profundidad. Estoy convencida que el acceso a su idioma natal es sumamente importante en el proceso terapéutico. Al ofrecer servicios de consejería en inglés y español, espero eliminar una barrera emocional para trabajar juntos hacia su meta de bienestar o meta para su hija/o. Uso varios métodos de terapia. Aceptaré referencias de todo el estado de Arkansas."
We are glad to have them on board! Samantha will be working out of our Mountain Home clinic. Adela and Rebecca will be working out of our Jacksonville clinic.
