 Families, Inc. is piloting the first Youth Mental Health First Aid program in NEA.  Our agency will train over 200 school faculty and personnel and over 100 members of the public to improve mental health literacy – helping them identify, understand and respond to signs of mental illness.

Mike Davis, Ph.D.
Dr. Mike Davis joined the Families Inc. staff in August, 2008, after four years with the Child & Youth Development Center in Jonesboro.

Dr. Davis is an Arkansas State University graduate, receiving his Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology in 1997 and earning his Ph.D. at the University of Central Arkansas in 2004. His areas of expertise include psychotherapy, outcomes research, brief solution-based therapy and pediatric bipolar disorders. He provides extensive psychological testing to assist with diagnosing and treatment.

Dr. Davis presents on a variety of topics such as the importance of psychological testing and psychotherapy outcomes research in mental healthcare, as well as on a variety of mental health diagnosis.

Dr. Davis and his wife, Laura, have one son, Lance. He is affiliated with the Healthcare Medical Group (HMG).
