 Families, Inc. is piloting the first Youth Mental Health First Aid program in NEA.  Our agency will train over 200 school faculty and personnel and over 100 members of the public to improve mental health literacy – helping them identify, understand and respond to signs of mental illness.

Employee vs. Independent Contractor

We offer generous pay and a full benefit package to our Employees.  We also offer both full-time and part-time employment options for designated positions.

Our Independent Contractors are paid at a generous per billable hour rate and are offered greater flexibility in their work hours.  An Independent Contractor may provide services as either a Mental Health Paraprofessional or a Therapist for Families, Inc.

MENTAL HEALTH PARAPROFESSIONAL - Mountain Home, Jacksonville
The Mental Health Paraprofessional will establish a supportive client relationship with the goal of empowering clients and their support network to actively participate in mental health treatment. The Mental Health Paraprofessional will provide clinical interventions to reinforce, practice, and model therapeutic techniques and treatments as directed by the Mental Health Professional. The Mental Health Paraprofessional is not responsible for supervision of other staff.
